What you can expect from us
Homestead's inspectors have completed and are certified in “COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for Home Inspectors” from International Association of Certified Home Inspectors
Homestead's inspectors will not conduct any inspection if any symptom or risk is present in the home or with our inspectors
Homestead's inspectors will always wear N-95 masks and protective gloves during every inspection to protect themselves and the property owner’s
To ensure social distancing practices are followed, our clients or realtors will no longer accompany the home inspector during the home inspection. However, our inspector will use available tools such as FaceTime, Zoom, Hangouts, etc. to do a virtual summary of the inspection findings at the end of the inspection with the client (providing internet services are available).
What we expect from the seller
Please Inform us immediately if: Anyone in the house is in isolation or quarantine; anyone in the residence feels sick or exhibits symptoms of a respiratory illness or has been out of the province in the last 14 days; anyone has had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
Please wipe bathroom and kitchen faucet handles, light switches, toilet handles, thermostat, doorknobs and other high use hand touching areas with a sanitizing wipe before and after the inspection.
